There are two different ways for visitors to get to Roatan, by air or by sea. In this blog we are going to bring you closer to the different options for getting to our wonderful island of Roatan.
GET TO RTB BY AIR
Roatán has its Juan Manuel Gálvez International Airport (RTB), which receives international and regular domestic flights.
INTERNATIONAL FLIGHTS
Roatan host direct International Flights from Atlanta, Houston, Toronto, Miami and El Salvador. COMING FROM EUROPE
DOMESTICS FLIGHTS
Local flights are available to Roatan from Honduras’ airports in Tegucigalpa, San Pedro Sula, Copan, and La Ceiba. Purchasing a direct flight to San Pedro Sula from the USA or Canada can be cheaper than a direct trip to Roatan. Once in San Pedro Sula, you can get a ticket to Roatan with one of the domestic airlines; CM Airlines or SOSA. The domestic Airlines are Isleña, Lanhsa, CM Airlines, and SOSA. You can also utilize domestic airlines to travel between the Bay Islands of Utila or Guanaja.
